My Story

Ever since I was little, I have always loved baking. A few years ago I completely fell in love with it, baking every chance I got. During my freshman year of high school, I decided to make an Instagram and start posting pictures of my creations. I loved making the treats, taking pictures and editing them, and seeing my friends’ and family’s reactions while tasting them. I decided that baking for my loved ones will always be something I do, but I want more. That's when I created Bakes with Maya in the summer of 2020. 

I  love trying new recipes and decorations and I put my heart and soul into everything that I bake. I am always up to the challenge of making what a customer wants and I try my very best to fit their every need to ensure they get a perfect dessert. I recently completed my freshman year at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, double majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I am home in Denver for the summer and look forward to get back into baking after living in a dorm all year! I am heavily involved in Humorology at my school, the largest student run philanthropy and variety show in the state of Wisconsin. Run by Greek Life at UW, we work to serve local charity's in Madison and put on a production at the end of April. I will be donating 10% of all my profits to this cause, and look forward to working towards our goal of placing first in 2024! Baking is my passion and I would love to share it with all of you as much as I possibly can!
